​In 2006, Tammy was awarded Family Childcare Provider of the Year by the Ohio Association for the Education of Young Children (OAEYC).

The following year, she was selected from nationwide candidates to receive the National Childcare Provider of the Year Award. She was flown to Washington DC where she was presented with the award by Senators Sherrod Brown and George Voinovich.

Since then she continually looks for ways to improve her program.
